Labor Day Weekend

I had one of the most enjoyable weekends I can remember in quite a while! A generally healthy and happy husband, a drama-free 2-year-old (for these few days anyway), a very low-maintenance baby, and great friends and family makes mommy very happy and thankful.

We kicked off the weekend with another great pot-luck cookout with friends, followed by a lot more time together on Saturday watching football and then a (too) late picnic in the park. Here are a few shots of the kiddos.

Note to self...if ever hosting 9 kids at your home age 4 and under, know that you can forever entertain the 2-ish year olds by putting a simple bowl of water on the deck and handing over as many "scooping" devices as possible. Just be advised that extra clothes will be needed! Erin - you're a genius!
Enjoying it just like at the pool

Deciding to treat it like the bathtub and pour the water over his head
Not completely sure if this was her thing...she kept coming to the door saying "all wet"
Here's a shot Erin and I like to call "one for the wedding video" years down the road. :-)

The girls and I braved The Legends with my mom on Sunday to shop and again on Monday with Chris and Paula to make some exchanges. Cailyn loved the fountains there but the wind made it a wet adventure!
