Day number 9. No change on my end here. Still waiting for the doctor to ok fluids. Still on the ever-fullfilling diet of ice chips. Ultimately we are waiting for my lower instestine to "wake" back up. As soon as it does, I can progress onto clear liquids. Then from there, I can move onto full liquids and then soft, bland foods. Finally moving to a reqular diet. I can't leave here without eating a full meal and digesting it properly.
The hardest part is the waiting. Nothing left to do but just sit here. So thank you to everyone who has made it by for visit. Your visits break up my day.
Will write more once I see the doctor tonight.
